We are a young professional couple from Chicago in our early 20s. Our budget is ~100-125k, income is ~70k. We really value close proximity to things - shopping, universities, downtown areas. We also would love to be close to the theme parks. We'd rather not be in a winding development that you have to drive a mile just to get out of.
No kids yet, but ideally this town will have very good schools - we don't mind a kid-friendly place.
We already have Winter Park - is there anywhere else we should look? A single or a townhome, 2-3 bedroom is how we're aiming.

Seminole county has some of the best schools in the State- about 20 mintues to downdown, 45 mintues to Disney - both via I 4.
I work Seminole county and Lake and Apopka area - all might be targets for you search.

Your requests are reasonable. My initial observation/question after reading your E-mail consists mainly of commute, geographic questions, i.e. where do you both work? What do you consider an acceptable commute to work? How close to the theme parks driving time would you prefer? Generally speaking, within your budget and preferences, that is not exceeding 125K, you will have more selection of townhomes and many of them will be late model units.
