Hello, my husband and I just saw a beautiful place in Crown Heights, and we're wondering if anyone has an opinion on the neighborhood. Thanks,

Crown Heights, to start, has diverse architectural options, often with fun historical detailing. It's a convenient location for commuting to the city, with four subway lines available, and for families it's home to the Brooklyn Children's museum. Here is a list of schools... http://www.corcoran.com/neighborhoods/index.aspx?page=Brookl…

Carol:

Crime rate in New York as a whole has dropped significantly. A huge presence of police officers on the streets have helped detour and decrease crime. Brooklyn has been a beneficiary. See information on Crown Heights:

Resale value is driven by location, location, location! In addition, demand for a particular area plays a major role. Crown Heights is approximately 2 miles wide and deep. Where you choose to position yourself in the neighborhood, will determine your resale value.
