Norristown sometimes can get a bad rap. I know of numerous areas that are quite nice and where alot of homes are owned by investors who rent their properties out. They are trying to improve Norristown but it is a long enduring process. You will more then likely have a fair return on your investment is you buy smart. Avoid the less desirable areas and homes that need a total rehab (unless you can get it for DIRT cheap). I would highly recommend investment properties in both Norristown and Pottstown.

They are putting in that new movie studio so I would say prospects look good.
