East Garfield Park Area! Should I sell! sell! sell! or hold!

I own a property in East Garfield Park just around the corner from the Basilica at 3121 W Jackson Blvd. A two unit brick row house. Do you think it would make financial sense to keep it for a couple more years when properties appreciate or are properties not going to appreciate that much in this area?

Not unless there is new development planned or retail - that area is quite depressed.

I'd say for at least five-ten years for any possible investor buildout there.

The only plus is that it is so close to the Loop - it will eventually be developed but not in two years. Follow the retail and you will find successful developments.
