Does anyone roughly know what the population of Mountain House, CA is? Wikipedia has it listed at 6,000, but

I'm not sure how accurate that is. Also, does anyone know when they intend to build the town square? I heard it was dependent upon the population. Thanks.

Mountain House's population is changing daily. The good news is that builders are only building now "as ordered' and inventory is starting to move. I have not seen a time line for the town square, they are busy grading the Junior College and business center right now. Build out has slowed, so best guess is 3 - 5 years before any significant retail space is developed. Kids are great -- wait until they are 22!

Thank you, Patti. I'm looking for a place in the greater Bay area to start a small business and was wondering about Mtn. House. That site's perfect - can't believe I hadn't crossed it. I'll blame my 2-year-old. Thanks again.

Perhaps you can contact them and get specific info. Amazing that the projected population of the community in 20 years is 43,500.
