Susan had some great info for you. With California raising its State Income tax and Employer side taxes you will see more companies moving here. I myself moved here from California 6 years ago, have 5 kids and I love it here as do my kids. i handle the finance side, so if you want to get pre-approved contact me. I also work with a handful of solid agents but most of the ones you find in this site are well qulaified to help you out.

Hi Soprano Family,
Zappos is just one of the larger companies that have recently relocated to Las Vegas and Apple is planning to move part of its corporation to northern Nevada later this year. There are plans in progress to bring more companies to Las Vegas in the very near future as well as the SLS Hotel project which is planned to open in the Spring of 2014.

I saw your post (which was just removed) regarding a home that sold last year. I live and work in the southeastern portion of Las Vegas/Henderson and if you are interested in purchasing a home here, I would love to help you do so.

Thank you,

One of the most exciting future developments slated to open in 2014 is SLS Hotel and Casino which will be built where the Sahara is. The Sahara closed in May 2011. It's going to be great! Here's the website to apply and/or learn more about it http://slshotels.com/lasvegas/employment/

Brenda...gambling and hotels are nice, but as the meltdown of 2008 has shown housing and gambling cannot sustain a prosperous economy. Hopefully Las Vegas will diversify their business interests.
