Susan Morley, Home Buyer in Pawtucket, RI

Do you list rent to own properties in Tampa?

Asked by Susan Morley, Pawtucket, RI Thu Jul 31, 2008

I have the opportunity to transfer to Tampa. I will not have the time to spend looking at properties before moving. Renting would be the best way for me to go. I'm an interior designer and will take very good care of a property.

I have lived in the Tampa Bay Area for 37 years. I am also an interior designer and have an executive home in an upscale gated community with a huge community fishing lake. It's not your cookie cutter subdivision. It is truly a neighborhood with some homes 1 mil+. I have a 2-story, 3000 sq ft home. We have a lot in a Southern Living Community where we would like to build a Southern Living Showcase Home. That is why we would be selling and/or leasing with option to purchase our present home. Let me know if you would like more information. Thanks. Jennie 813 784-2295

Susan, just so you know, you can search lease options from the link I provided. Just put "lease option" in the search criteria area that says "Remarks" and then just view the results. I might not suggest doing a rent to own though, at least until you are sure of the area you want to live. Reason being, most lease options are expensive to enter in to, where you may be giving a non refundable deposit of $10k or more to the seller. What happens if you don't like the area, the house, or worse Tampa? :et me know if I can be of any further help.

Susan,

Sellers that are offering lease/purchase or lease/option financing (rent then own) usually have their listings categorized as such in our MLS database of homes for sale. We can run a search for these listings for you. Unfortunately you usually can't do that on the public search sites. Call or e-mail if we can help.
