Thank you. I have a lovely house on 34 acres with a pond for rent in Pomfret, in Windham County, less than an hour from Harford, Worcester and Providence. The market seems to have dried up. I have been renting it for many years and my latest occupants, excellent tenants for six years, moved out in April. I have done some repairs and am now ready to find a new tenant, but there seem to be no takers in this awful market. What do you recommend? I have spoken to other realtors, and they are having problems too, of course

If you are looking in Fairfield County, I do work with tenants and landlords on rental properties and would be happy to help you. Most real estate agents will work with tenants to find suitable rental properties from those listed on the Multiple Listing Service. FYI, if a property is listed for rent on the Multiple Listing Service the "fee" is most often paid by the landlord, but you should always verify whether or not you'll need to pay a fee for any rental agents services.
