Prices go up when demand is greater than supply. There are just too many houses and townhouses on the market for prices to increase. Why have the long commute on I-75 to a job when there are great deals in South Tampa and North Tampa & New Tampa?

The other thing that will keep prices down is all the buildable land the builders have available for new homes.
Re-sellers have trouble competing with builder financing and closing costs offers.

Just an ex-Tampa REALTOR's opinion.
