Do most homes in the area have year round inhabitants and do all contain a permanent heat source?

FIRST ANSWER

There are some towns and villages in Maine where the population swells considerably in warmer months, however most areas are largely populated with year round residents. There are seasonal properties, i.e. vacation homes, that may not have enough in the way of heat sources to carry you through winter.
