Could someone tell me what kind of stores and restaurants are in Freeport? Also, we are looking to rent a home in Freeport, any ideas where to look?

Hello Lisa,

In Freeport at the present time, there is not a lot of business--primarily residential--there is a small grocery store, hardware, a small shopping center. The important thing, though is that it is only 15 minutes to Santa Rosa Beach where there is a Publix, great world class restaurants, the most beautiful beaches, Seaside-a very exclusive community with wonderful amenities. There is a community library in Freeport, a community swimming pool, and that area is developing--a new main artery connecting I-10 with the beach has just recently been completed. Now is the time to buy in Freeport because the cost is low, but it is an up and coming area. This will especially be true with the completion of the Panama City International Airport.

I am a represent the Verandas at Freeport--we are currently selling 3 bedroom townhomes as low as 99,900--why rent?! Hammock Bay is another delightful community and I would be happy to show you around there and all the wonderful amenities as well.

I can assist in you buying or renting in the area--just contact me and we'll go from there!!
