You will also have the benefits of use both counties (Miami Dade and Broward County) since Miami Lakes is near the north boundary of Miami Dade County and south boundary of Broward County. Here is a interactive map link of the city with some feature. Hope this help you to make your decision.

Miami Lakes is a meticulously planned city of South Florida. Miami Lakes is more hometown than metropolis. Located in Northern Miami-Dade County Miami Lakes is close to everything. A traditional Main Street anchors curvy residential streets, tasteful corporate parks and lots of lakes and green spaces. Enjoy fine dining and shopping in the quaint ambience created by old-fashioned lamps, colorful striped awnings and brick sidewalks.
