Ying, Home Buyer in Dublin, CA

Can we get some more information on specific Dublin neighborhoods?

Asked by Ying, Dublin, CA Sun Jan 9, 2011

My fiance and I have been looking in Dublin for quite some time now, and we've both liked the housing and surrounds at the Courtyards at Dublin Ranch, the Roxbury community off of Gleason, and The Woodlands off of Dougherty. We can tell the Courtyards and Roxbury are a lot newer, but the Woodlands seem more family friendly. Does anyone have any preferences for any of these neighborhoods? Are there others out there that are better? We are mainly looking in the sub-$500k range.

Hi James,

Sorrento at Dublin Ranch has really come down in price. The townhomes by Emerald Glen should also be in your price range. Best of all, Dublin will have its own Farmers market soon Thursday nights starting May 12th.

Hi james - did you get chance to look at Sorrento at Dublin Ranch, across from FALLON middle school... Amalfi, Trevi, Siena, Firenze and Milano FIVE communities by Toll brothers... 10,000sqft club house, pool, spa, gym and rec center and park access... GREAT price now, start from low 400,000s and many incentives... Let me know if you need more info... I have helped my clients to move in the area and they all love it... Amalfi link here, you can read for some info, <a href="http://myrealinsight.com/2011/03/exquisite-villa-style-sorre… HERE</a> ... Kent

Hello James,

Sounds like you're looking at very diverse homes....Courtyards being condos and Robury being single family, Woodlands not as new. I'm very familiar with all three, and my personal preference would be Woodlands, but a lot of my buyers would probably choose Courtyards. As you say, it's all about lifestyle and what appeals to you.

I like Califonia Highlands on the extreme East side as well. I'll be doing a special piece on California Highlands for a blog I contribute to on January 15th. The reason I like it is that they're townhome style and nestled in the hills. I love the ones that back up to open space. I'll be posting that blog on http://www.LiveDublinCA.com on the 16th. Also, there is a lot of neighborhood information at http://www.VickieSellsHomes.com. Just click the blog button and pull down to the Dublin menu.

Respectfully,

Dublin is a great community and which neighborhood depends more on what you like. There are lots of parks everywhere and young families in both
areas you mentioned. The schools are rated higher in the newer area but yards are bigger with more privacy in the older. I live in Dublin so call me or email directly so we can talk more about what is important to you then I can match you with your best fit. 989-9559
