Twinmacoil,

To my knowledge, there are no state or city parks within the neighborhood of Croissant Park that offer space for playing sports. The closest parks with those amenities are the Florence C. Hardy Park and Southside Cultural Center, which is located in the neighborhood of Tarpon River just off Andrews Avenue. The other park is Holiday Park, which is located in the neighborhood of Victoria Park off Sunrise Blvd.

Here is a link to all parks in Fort Lauderdale and the available amenities: http://www.fortlauderdale.gov/cityparks/parks.htm

I hope this is helpful!

There are playing fields at Croissant Park Elementary School as well as a public swimming pool run by the City Recreation Dept. Another green space on SE 9th Ave is used by local rugby players for matches and practice.
