Are there permanent beachfront rental homes available?
i am interested in renting a beach front property for my self alone - one bedroom - absolutely anything. No 'luxe' required - just working water and of course sewage - air conditioning (?) - clean. No pool required. Just a place for me, 47 year old woman, on my own.

I have seen both seasonal and yearly waterfront rentals here on LI. Usually in places where there is an abundance of rentals. For example, the South Fork of Long Island, where the Hamptons are, you probably wouldn't find one, but the North Fork, which does not have a strong seasonal rental market, you can. So it could be possible, if there are "too many" rentals in your area, to rent yearly rather than seasonally.
