Are there homes available for sale or rent in the area between West Yellowstone and Idaho Falls? Are there?

any communites in that area? We are considering a move to West Yellowstone for a job opportunity, but I am concerned about a possible lack of cultural educational resources for my kids.

There are definitely homes for sale between West Yellowstone and Idaho Falls, and there are places for rent either seasonally, by the week, month, or year round in West Yellowstone. The area you mention includes the popular resort area of Island Park which has plenty of places for rent, mostly seasonally, and homes for sale as well. In West Yellowstone, there are generally a dozen or more high quality family homes or resort properties available for sale at any one time. If you want more information about West Yellowstone properties you can contact me. Educationally, opportunties outside of the classroom would include not only the natural history of Yellowstone Basin, but wide opportunitues in Bozeman, an hour away. Bozeman is the regional center for symphony, opera, museums, great library, theatre, etc. The other direction...Idaho Falls also offers opportunities. Recent museum exhibits in Idaho Falls include the Dead Seas Scrolls. Although the numbers of students in area schools is smaller, with graduating Senior classes numbering in the 20's and 30's in some schools, the opportunity for excellent (& closely supervised) public education is great.
Thanks for your interst in one of the greatest areas of America.
