"HUD homes for rent" is really a misnomer. Though HUD does temporarily "own" homes, they are foreclosures that are for sale; and they are not for rent. I know what you mean, however. You are looking for a home to rent from an owner who will accept a Section 8 rental agreement and payments. That home must also pass certain standards established by HUD.
The best source for information about homes for rent is still the local newspaper's classified ads. Sometimes, the ad will say whether or not HUD applicants are accepted. If not, simply ask if HUD is accepted when you respond to the ad.
