Are there any Historic Homes neighborhoods around downtown St Paul?

I love historuc homes.. are there any neighborhoods that are close to downtown that have Victorian homes on larger lots?

I am awed by the the historic homes on your blog and the pictures.. there are truly some stunning homes in St. Paul - I had no idea how lovely the area is and how much history the city has preserved..

BEST ANSWER
The neighborhoods around downtown are the oldest in St. Paul. The earliest settlers arrived in the 1840's. MN became a state in 1858.
