Daly City has the designation "NSFHA" or "No Special Flood Hazard Areas" in FEMA's Community Status Book for Flood Insurance Rate Maps in California. What this means is that FEMA has not mapped any flood hazard areas in Daly City so flood insurance will likely not be required for any proprties within the City of Daly City. Daly City does participate in the National Flood Insurance Propgram so flood insurance is available if you wanted to carry it. It would be available at a lower rate than that of areas in flood hazard zones.
