Any Opinions on the Area Surrounding Tiger Woods 1st American Golf Course??

Asheville North Carolina, specifically the "Cliffs" seems like a wonderful community, just wanted more feedback from people familiar with the area. Thanks

Hi Ken
Here is a link to various golf course communities, including the Cliffs. If you use the 'Communities' button at the top you can sail around in here and check them out!

Hello Ken...
My name is Louan Gideon and I work in real estate here in Asheville. i live in Swannanoa, where Tiger's course, High Carolina, will be...in fact, we can see the mountain where they are developing it from our deck. I moved here a year and a half ago form Beverly Hills, CA, and cannot say enough good things about where we live now and the tremendously friendly nature of the people, the beauty of the surroundings, and the creativity of this area. Though I am not an agent at The Cliffs, they are one of the communities that will be represented on my new website, CarolinaLuxuryMountainProperties.com. The website has not gone live yet...probably around the first of May...but I have researched and chosen what I consider to e "the best of the best" of luxury communities surrounding Asheville and The Cliffs certainly have all the credentials and amenities to put them into the top echelon of places to live, I believe. If you would like t call me and hear more about Swannanoa, I'll be hapy to tell you. Louan: 828-318-4844

The Cliffs do a great job in each community that they have developed. As you may know, they are developing very high end properties each with golf courses and or lakes. Residents at the Cliffs get use of the wonderful facilities at the other Cliffs communities. I have lived in a number of places, UK, DC, CA, Miami Beach and now Asheville NC, actually Black Mountain close by, and we have settled here due to the wonderful mountain scenes wherever you go, a great climate, very friendly people and I understand why Asheville is continually voted the best place to live in the US. You may have seen recently we were also awarded the happiest place! Hope this helps give you an idea of the area. Rowena 828 669 6671 rowena@pattonpropertygroup.com

Hey Ken: you might also want to look into Rutherfordton, NC. Just west, south of Asheville. About 1 hour drive. We have several Jack Nicholson golf courses going in and the prices are significantly lower than what you will see in Asheville. I would be happy to send you some info on it if you are interested.

Ken:
The Cliffs is generating lots of buzz. I have the brochure which I would be glad to send you. Might I also recommend several neighborhoods adjoining the Cliffs that have nice mid-market pricing ($400-500,000.) available today. Good quality that won't last once the Cliffs is done! There are some beautiful homes that will only gain as the development progress. They have all the nice features and many with awesome views.

Asheville like Wilmington is an amazing golf, live, relax community. Always a great investment, and the NC golf cant be beat. Contact the Asheville chamber of commerce to find out detailed info. I'm sure they will have a full color brochure to send you.

Hello Ian,

Thanks for the insight. I heard about it when Tiger announced he had chosen the Cliffs Area. This is sure to be a hot area for avid sports enthusiasts. My company has investments out in the Raleigh/ Durham area and I would like to relocate within the next year or two.
