Robert ,
Are you talking about the IRS, The State Controller or the County Tax Assessor. There will be different sites for the different ones.
The courthouse steps ( as they say) is the first place to look , but you do have three big auction companies that take care of many of the tax sales for some of the counties in Texas. I would bring up the county on Google and start my search there to see how they handle their sales. If I lived in the county I would go to the courthouse and read the wall.

If you are purchasing a tax foreclosure there are many other issues you need to be concerned with. Many of these info. commercials are always not what they appear to be. Good luck

Some counties offer directly the postings online. Some publish in the newspaper. Some have the list at the courthouse. You can also buy the list from George Roddy and Foreclosure Listing Service. George Jr.'s class on Tax Sales is a must if you want to pursue this investment vehicle. You can see more info on Denton County Sales at . You can also see more information on foreclosure resources on my website under the Foreclosure Link. Hope this helps.
