there is no one consolidated list. I wish there was, it would save me a lot of time and heartache. Typically, a bank will process the homes that they have and will list them with a local realtor in the area that they are located in, because that is their best way to get them sold. At that point, they will be put in the local MLS system and depending on the MLS search functions you will be able to search through the MLS listings for the bank owned homes. In some cases, you will need a realtor to help you filter the bank owned from the privately owned homes, however realtors don't charge for that service.
Most banks have processing companies that will put the homes on their websites as they process them. some handle only one or two banks, others handle many banks. There are several websites on my website that handle multiple banks, note that part of them handle hud homes as well and you have to sign up seperately for hud listings and for the bank owned listings on the site - http://www.yourstlhome.com under search for homes
