I'm looking to buy a foreclosed property and a lot of them are under redemption period( past the auction time) This is quite unclear to me .
I was not sure how long the houses would stay under redemption period in Norwalk.

thanks

Hello Sonya,
The courts set a law day for the property being foreclosed on where you have until that time to redeem the property. Your attorney can extend the judgement date if you feel you might be able to take back the property. I hope this is helpful to you.

Hi Sonya,
I'm an agent focused on the Stamford to Norwalk corridor and would be happy to be of help to you. I usually give buyers a free, no obligation, consultation so we’re all clear on what I can and can’t do for you, and I would think you’d like to get that out of the way before really seriously beginning to look. Please contact me if you can use my assistance.

There is no standard time in CT. It's up to the court to decide.
