If the property is bank owned, were all necessary documents submitted with your offer. If the home is owned by a bank located outside of the US it could take quite a while. Your agent should be checking every few days to make sure no documents have been lost and the contract and associated information is winding its way through the process.
Hi Dee,
Have your agent call for an update. The offer could be sitting on someone's desk. Banks are very unpredictable and respond when THEY are ready.
Let me know if you have any other questions.
Thanks,
Heather Daccurso

Hi Dee,
It's been my experience that banks respond when they are good and ready. Some times they take two weeks. I always have to contact the bank for my clients to push it along.
Do you have an agent helping you?

Bank usually respond within a day or two. Guess my question to would be, to whom did you submit your Offer. Was through an web site or with a Realtor?
If a Realtor, you should give the Realtor a call to get the status. On the other hand, if it was through a web site, then that information will be submitted to the Agent, by the Bank that have this property, and that may take a while. So, its always best to deal with a Realtor on BANK OWNED and or REO properties.
