Best place to start would be to talk to the town trusties. One of them just sold an oyster business a year or so ago. His last name is Pell. Do you have a budget in mind? How large an operation are you planning? Paul Henneforth 631 793 5249

Candy,

I would be happy to help you with the dockage and direct you in regard to underwater space. The latter is taller order than the first. However, the Southampton Town Trustees and http://www.stonybrook.edu/southampton/index.html would be the best direction to go for information in regards to aquaculture.

Hi Candy, are you considering living on the property? If not you may want to based on all the benefits it offers for the success of your business. Where are you interested in securing the farm at?

I like to pride myself in finding those impossible properties for folks and must admit your's is a new one. I did a little research and it appears that the source for most of LI's oysters is on the north shore. If you're not already working with an agent, I'd welcome the opportunity to assist you. If I knew moire about your plans, I could certainly do my best to help you achieve your goals. Good luck!
