FIRST ANSWER
Usually if it has been forclosed on you have to bid on it, then wait for the redemption period before the current owners that are in default either move or sell it to somebody else. In the meantime you need your money together to purchase the home before the biding process.
I have had more luck with buyers looking at homes that are in Pre Forclosure.
