Barb:
You are looking for a good deal on a home, right?
Some of the better properties to buy are ones where there is no bank involved, just a motivated home owner. Banks are often dificult to negotiate with, difficult to get a hold of and not willing to make repairs on a damaged property. With a home owner, condition is usually better and negotiations/repairs are too.
Your best bet is to engage the services of a professional real estate advisor in the area your would like to purchase in. They are your gateway to the perfect property and it costs you nothing!
