Nadine is right. Next step is to search deeper, by using the lis pendens number to find out where in the
foreclosure process the property is. This process can now days strech out to1-2 years unfortunately.

Hi Troy,

You can check with the Palm Beach county clerks website. http://www.mypalmbeachclerk.com/officialrecords/search.aspx

You may also want to know that President Obama signed a new law into effect last May. It states that if you have a bonafide lease for the home you are entitled to stay in the home for the full term of the lease. You can check here for more information on this ruling: http://www.ncsha.org/blog/president-signs-foreclosure-relief…

Good luck in your new home.
