Sid the easiest way to get access to foreclosures is to have abuyer broker working on your behalf that can first provide you of a list of all of them in the areas you seek for propertie sthat meet your search criteria, they then can update you daily as new listings hit the market. it is the new listings and getting to them first where you will find teh deals as well as when existing listings get price changes to be abl eto know to jump on it. it beats searching on your own.
If you want 'Foreclosures' (aka Bank Owned/REO), than you can have a realtor send you automatic emails for those keywords in your target area, or try our website http://www.rehabhousesinct.com. If you want pre-foreclosures (before the bank takes over), you can use Foreclosures.com or RealtyTrac.com.
Sid there are really 3 types of foreclosures.
1. HUD properties
2. Bank Owned homes listed with Brokers
3. Homes auctioned off by banks using attorneys.
You can search all available HUD homes here http://ctsellbyowner.com/?page_id=139
You'll need a HUD approved broker to make an offer, which we are. Let us know if we can assist.
Hi Sid,
The best way is to have a Realtor send you the information. You can go directly to the HUD websites, but you will need a Realtor to submit an offer. This service is of no cost to you since the bank pays the commission. I would be happy to discuss this further with you. There are a few foreclosures in your area. Be sure that you have your financing in place and you must realize that you are buying properties that are as is/where is. Let me know if you would like my assistance.
Sincerely,
Amanda A. Albert, 860-916-2744
