move in their was no appliances. Can i do that with out lose of the sell of the house.
What is it that you plan on doing with the appliances that you remove? Does the house you're moving into have no appliances?
Warren,
That's a negotiable item on a sales contract. The appliances "do not" add value to a home, but it does make for a nice incentive.
If you're going to keep them just make sure you take it out of any advertisement and make sure they're not on the sales contract.
Hi Warren-
In the Chicagoland area, it is pretty common that the appliances stay. Some people prefer to take the washer/dryer with them, but not the stove, fridge & dishwasher.
Ask your agent about the pros/cons of taking the appliances with.
Good Luck!
All built-ins usually stay with the home, i.e., kitchen range, microwave, dish washer, etc. If you take these (considered) built-in appliances, you will find it difficult to sell.
Excluding appliances is not the best way to make your home attractive to a buyer in this market. Buyers expect a home to have all the appliances. If you still decide you want to take your appliances, make sure your listing states what you are taking right up front.
