Would the cold weather act in Mn extend the redemption period?

Hi Vonni,
Cold wheather will not but the goverment could request to extend the period as it did last year.

Don't count on government steping on the game again.

Remember, Minnesota is 6 months (for owner occupied properties). If you feel like leaving in the Middel of December, please, call your servicer and let them know that you are leaving the property so the servicer could winterize the property and secure it.

You could also ask your servicer if a Deed in Leu will have a bennefit for you.

Absolutely not, almost nothing but bankruptcy would extend the redemption period.
