Where do I get information on Foreclosure or short sell properties in Naples for a vacation property?

My husband has an office location there and we would like to have a vacation home there. Possibly near the beach. I know that may be expensive, so possibly a mile. But definitely West of Tamiami Trail. Would consider Bonita Springs as well.

Although, there were a lot of properties auctioned, the properties sold may not have been at those prices. Most auctions are one of two kinds, one being an absolute auction were the highest bidder gets the property and a regular auction were the owner puts his property out there trying to create a quick sale. A lot of times this type of auctiont the property actually gets sold close to market price, The absolute auctions on the other hand ,in most cases get bought back by the bank at the auction price and sold as REO properties. Do yourself a favor get a realtor either buy a short sale, a short payout or a REO if you looking for property. Most foreclosed properties are abused and stripped by their owners before they vacate

I just attended a public auction last night for BANK OWNED properties and I've posted the results of the auction at http://www.napleshomepage.com/auction.htm

Please email me, from my request form at http://www.napleshomepage.com/foreclose.htm

The list is in tabulated format with hyperlinks, showing current price, original price, development name, owner name, days on market, address, bed/baths, year built, garage, pool, pictures & descriptions. This list can only be individually emailed.

Bank Owned Property is a property that has gone through the Foreclosure Process & wasn't sold & the Bank holds it in inventory. This is not a Short Sale Property. These Properties can be reduced 10 - 20% a month until sold.

Dear Flgirl

Although you are looking for foreclosures or short sales there are also distressed sales that are available. The end result of all the foreclosures and short sales is a reduction in market price in those neighborhoods that they are in. You maybe doing yourself a disservice by not exploring all avenues.
Find a local professional that looks at every situation, knows the Naples and Bonita market and will work at locating you the best priced home. Remember all foreclosed property and short sales are as is sales.
I hope this will help you make your decision easier.

Hello

Please see my website http://www.napleshomepage.com
and there are recent sales for most SW Florida communities and an area requesting bank owned lists that I can email to you.

Short sales are tough, but bank owned properties is the way to go.

Best of luck,
