We have narrowed down the area we are interested in (80304), but are still researching and not ready to hook up with a realtor. We would like to attend a preview and/or auction just to learn about the logistics.
Hi Susie,
Go to http://www.bouldercountypt.org/AllReports.aspx to find all of the info you need to get started looking for good foreclosure deal.
The Pre Sale List is updated on Monday and lists the homes that will come up for sale on Wednesday.
The Election and Demand Notices Filed is a list of homes that have around 120 days to cure or the home will be auctioned.
Let me know if you have any more questions.
Thanks!
Sean
Susie I would suggest that you check out the foreclosure process in your state to better understand the process. You can either do this by googleing colorado foreclosure process or subscribing to a service like realty trac.com or foreclosure.com. Of course the cheapest way is to contact a buyers agent in your area that understands foreclosures and the processes. There are no previews with foreclosures except if the owners are trying to sell the property or complete a short sale. About 50% of the time people in the foreclosure process just let the property go to forecosure without trying to sell the property.
Wish you luck

If it's a foreclosure, chances are there are no previews. The only exception is if the home is already on the market with an agent prior to foreclosure.
