Pardon me if I am making an assumption here. I will to be honest. The process of foreclosure is lengthy and the lender will give you fair warning. The debt collector will keep calling you, as time goes by their calls will become stronger and stronger. Certified mail is one part of the process. However, you not the first person to ask, do you have proof? The Lenders have heard that line far too many times and the debt collector will strong arm you within a few minutes of your argument. In addition, we all have an Internal Compass that tells us when we do something wrong. A piece of paper only validates it.
