What can you tell me about the market conditions, foreclosure rates?

What is crime issues? employment issues? What does a 3 bedroom 1.5 bat home at 1690 sq ft go for in area? Are college students living in this area? Would they?

Ashland single family market snapshot
Ashland 10/22/07

I was curious what segment of the market was more active. Where are buyers coming from and what Price range. Looking at the MLS statistics heres what I found.

ashland active listings total - 78 homes . On deposit 15 Homes. On deposit as opposed to solds gives me a better picture of whats happening over the past 30 days. Of these 15 homes 10 are under $500,000. and 5 are $550,000 to 850000.

It seems as though the starter home market is the most active. I f you are interested in a detailed report please contact me I can provide comprehensive information to make informed intelligent decisions for you.

Hi! I grew up in Chespeake, went to schol in Ironton, and I have a brother that lives in Ashland. Since I sell real estate in California I can't help you, but I did want to give you a friendly hello from the West Coast. Good luck!

Hi Chas,

I don't live in Kentucky, so don't know the area enough to give you the information you seek. However, here is a good start:

http://realestate.yahoo.com/neighborhoods

You can also click on the "home values" tab to get information on area values. However, please note that these are not 100% accurate and that your best bet is to consult with an area Realtor who can pull hard data for you.
