North Stamford is closer to the Merritt so you can access the parkway more easily. Also, you have the barlett arborium (beautiful nature park), its close to new cannaan shopping, and the homes have more more land. The roads can be winding, area can be hilley and more secluded.

Westover is closer to 95, metro north, and downtown restaurants, shopping, banks, office buildings etc. There are lots of projects going on in downtown like RBS, Trump high rise, and redevelopment of mall area. You also close to golf course, some parks. Home lots tend to be smaller than north stamford but the homes prices are quite comparable. You can find colonials, rasied ranches, capes, contemp. etc in both areas. Lots of people who work downtown stamford or in NYC seem to perfer this area b/c of closes to metro north & 95.
I currently live in downtown so my perference would be Westover only because i enjoy going to NYC and eating out at the restaurants in downtown stamford =)

Hi Mike,
Westover is closer to downtown Stamford, Westover is more of an established neighborhood. Westover tends to be more pricey than North Stamford. North Stamford has a few foreclosures currently if you are interested. Where are you re-locating from?
