There are several foreclosure properties I am interested in on the Trulia Website. If there is no agent

assigned to them how do I get in contact with someone to assist me. I have been given verbal approval by my bank that the funds will be available. Only paper work to be completed.

First let us get that verbal approval in writting. This will be needed. The better properties near well populated or popular areas may have multiple offers.
Second if the site you are looking on does not have a place for you to search for qualified Realtors, You can pull up information about the city or county to are looking in, you will quite often find a list of Brokers in the area.
If you have a U.S. atty or mortgage company they may be able to direct you to somone in the area where you are looking.
Also if you see on Trulia or another web site an agent in that area that does handle other forclosure properties they may be your best bet as they will know what the regulations for the area and the best was for you to make your offer.
Good Luck

David,
if you live in Ireland, i highly recomend to hire Realtor to represent you (buyers agent- it doesnt cost you anything, because agent gets paid from the seller). Foreclosure deals in most cases are dificult to handle and take a lot of time and effort. Find a good realtor in the area you wish to buy. His/her help will be priceless in your situation!

Hello again David,

You need only contact a local Realtor that you feel comfortable working with.
We would only need verifcation of funds. I would highly suggest opening a US bank account.
I can help you with that. Have you spoken with MoneyCorp about wiring funds to the US?
or will you be using your bank to do the wiring? Please contact MoneyCorp to discuss thier offers, or I can have someone ring you.
Have you seen these properties in person? I would be happy to go view them and send more pictures.

You do not have to go with an agent who is listing a property in order to buy that property. You can use any real estate agent you want. The most important things to look for in choosing an agent is to find someone with the following qualities: smart, educated, empathetic, and dedicated. Any licensed agent can show any property. Find someone who is willing to show you what you want and, especially, one who can find you hot deals that you might not have been able to find on your own.

David:

I am a local Realtor working Kissimmee as my main area. I can find/locate any listed foreclosure in the Kissimmee/Orlando area that is listed. I also have access to pre-foreclosure properties. Are you looking for a residence or a vacation/investment property?

If you sent me what little information you have I will find all the specifics for you.
You may contat me directly at Tony.Vega@coldwellbanker.com or at my website listed below.

Hi David,

You have some very valid points, BUT - my question to you would be if you know that foreclosures or short sales are not always the best deal for you?

I don't know why people think they are but the deal is that you buy these properties 'AS IS', AND you have to spend a lot of money to do home inspections, radon, lead based paint, yada yada....so my best advise to you is that I COULD set you up with an agent who knows the ins and out's of this, and I would highly recommend that you educated yourself in this area before moving forward and spending THOUSANDS of dollars.

Good luck David, and if you have any other questions that I can be of help with, let me know. I have spent over 15 yrs as an educator/trainer/agent to help people, and I don't care if I make money from it, what matters most to me is that you don't make a costly mistake because you believe everything you see on the internet.
