Several good ideas have been posted already. Here are a couple more. Have you tried searching on-line for an obituary, which often lists the deceased's immediate family members. Have you approached the immediate neighbors to see if they have any information about the family?

Hi Marge,
check out the old owners name in lee clerk records once you do this look for new death certificate filings that will have the estate infomation. If you need help give us a call.

does the clerk of court have any helpful information? they are downtown Ft Myers

You can try to go to the probate court in the decedent's jurisdiction and ask the clerk to conduct a search for you.

You might try to send a letter with "address correction" to see if the mail is getting forwarded to an heir. You pay a small fee to the Post Office for this service.
