Wonderful especiall with all the folks today loosing their homes to foreclosure, may have had great credit in their past before the rising mortgage rate. I have all my tenants provide me with a credit report so I can work with the landlord to determine if they are a good risk. Let me know If I can help http://www.JeanSOLDMyHouse.com
Hyannis & towns to its West of there have had the highest # of foreclosures on Cape Cod.
Rents vary but tend to top out @ below $1100. + utils.
If you are planning on holding for at least 3 years and pay a fair price you should be fine.
Hyannis has lost some of it's immigrant service population (who were largely good tenants) due to the dollars falling exchange rates. There are more affordable rentals than I have seen in 15 years.
However.. The Cape market will recover ,as it always does. Much Baby Boomer & Wall Street money investing here.
Shame on you Mother & Daughter for trying to solicit on this forum! You've been warned before.....
The rental market is very good - our rental office has been busy, If you are thinking of renting it for the summer you need to "get going" on that as renters are looking now for their summer rentals. Good luck!
