I know the Obama adminstration was trying to get something like this passed. Things have changed so fast in this area it is becoming hard to keep up with all the changes. I'm sorry to hear your situation. The changes will be very slim that bank will rent you back. If they asked to move out that means they are trying to sell that house as REO and already assigned an agent to list that house.

My advice is to look for another rental apartment where you can afford and move within that time. I hope they are giving you cash for keys (bank gives cash to move out) to move out. You can always consult with an attorney what would be your next step.
