My friend has been told that she can stay in her home for up to one year after foreclosure notice?
She is in the middle of a common law divorce and he is the only person on the name of the loan with the mortgage company and they filed notice of foreclosure to him. Her lawyer has told her that she can stay for up to one year and not pay a dime. is this true?
