Orlando is a big town.
What part of town do you need to be near?
Disney, Downtown, Lake Mary?
Schools for the kids?
Budget?
I would be happy to steer you in the right direction..

Consider a town home. Try Buy Owner, 9287 Northlake Parkway. You won't have any lawn maintainence or other issues to worry about while you are looking. YMCA membership is part of the HOA.

Larry,

If you haven't rented a home yet. I would highly consider Lease Option. This way you will get some of your rental money back when you are ready to purchase the home you are renting....This is a great way to invest your rental money in your future home....If you are still looking feel free to contact me. If you've found one. I wish you the best of luck Larry. A year from today when you are ready to buy, you will be in a great market. Lots of Foreclosures. 2007 hasn't seen the best of foreclosures. 2008 is the year for that...

I think is an excellent idea to rent now to avoid regrets later on. However, you are risking to miss the low interest rates that we have at the moment, is up to you. In Metrowest there is a good inventory of homes/condos for rent. Is worth it, the location is great.

Great answer Erik. I'd like to add, Avalon Park in East Orlando has so much inventory that people are willing to reduce their rent amount to fill the house. It's worth looking into KB homes in Avalon Park for great rental prices.

This totally depends on where you are working and what type of neighborhood you like. If you have kids, you'll like East Orlando or College Park, if you're single or want a younger crowd, maybe a place downtown will work . Do you know where you'll be working yet?

I got a couple places you could rent. What is your rental range, what part of town are you looking for, or what part of Orlando do you work at? Also, do you have school aged children?
