I was working with my mortgage company for a loan modification through the HOPE program. I was notified
about 6 weeks ago that the modification had been denied and in that same week was notified that my home was sold at auction. In the meantime my mortgage was transferred from one company to another and now belongs to their REO department. Do I have any options to stay in my home?

FIRST ANSWER
Difficult to state contact lender determine what your options are. If home sold at auction banks are not in business of leasing homes you could be evicted. Sorry to hear about this.
