I'm looking for information about a company called Green Credit Solutions.

Tracy
Agent
Santa Rosa, CA

I've been offered a job as a Sales Rep by an affiliate of theirs in Sonoma County to seek out homeowners in need of loan modifications. Supposedly, Green Credit works with DRE "sanctioned" Real Estate attorneys to work directly with the lenders via court orders. I know there are many lossmitigation and loan modification companies out there that are complete scams and I am calling on Real Estate agents with whom I have a great relationship with and I don't want to risk losing their respect by bringing their clients to a company that is not on the up and up. Thank you!!

GCS Victims:

Please contact the California State Bar and the California Attorney General’s office to file a complaint. This is in addition to the California Department of Real Estate.

Recovery of losses may be possible through the CA Bar’s Client Security Fund. Here is a link to the website page that gives information on the Client Security Fund that includes a link to file a complaint:

http://www.calbar.ca.gov/state/calbar/calbar_generic.jsp?cid…

The California Department of Real Estate also has a recovery fund. It may be possible to obtain reimbursement from the Real Estate Recovery Fund from GCS customers who have obtained a judgment against GCS from this fund. Here is a link to information on the CA DRE Real Estate Recovery Fund:

http://www.dre.ca.gov/cons_recovery_acct.html

And the webpage that includes applications or other required forms:

http://www.dre.ca.gov/frm_recovery.html

The California Department of Real Estate has reached the statutory limits of their authority and cannot assist in obtaining refunds. However, its important to file a complaint against the company.

You can also file a complaint with the California Attorney General’s Office here:

http://ag.ca.gov/contact/complaint_form.php?cmplt=CL

Please be sure and locate your contract and evidence of payment. Its important to know whether you contract is with Green Credit, one of their attorneys, or both. Please also have any documentation regarding your communications with Green Credit or their affiliates available.

If you have found an attorney that is willing to take on a Class Action suit, please post the information.

I have been very busy on a project and my family got hit with the flu, but I am forwarding the contact information for the people that have emailed me to the investigator for the CA Bar. Please feel free to continue to email me. The number of GCS customers that have been effected are too numerous for me to personally assist with refunds because it now borders on practicing law, which I am unable to do.

Many of GCS customers still need help, and I encourage those that need help to contact a HUD approved housing counselor. Or post there issue here. Another great source of free help is http://www.loansafe.org/

Check out the Loansafe.org forum and please consider joining. There is also a free e-book that can be downloaded on loan modifications.

If you have a specific question on your modification, you may send your question to kraileyus2@aol.com. I will not handle your modification request, but I can provide information that may help with the modification process. Other professionals should post a contact email to provide support for GCS victims as a form of community service. Please only provide your contact information if you are willing to provide free assistance.

Thank you.

I completely understand your frustration. I am too and my situation is a bit different since I'm in Oregon. Taking them to court would mean I need to go to CA to do it. I could take them to small claims but their is no guarentee that they would show, I'm guessing they wouldn't. Even though the BBB said they get many complaints it is still important to file with them. I do suggest that you file still with the CA attorney general as well as the CA DRE. You want to make sure that your information is out there too in case we get lucky enough to figure a way to file a class action against them.

sweetliljilly,

I did report them to the BBB. The rep there told me that they have "MANY" complaints on GCS and the company will not get back to me in the end or answer the complaint. The rep also advised me to take them to court on my own. Ok, but with what money? This is soooo frustrating!

MKim,

This isn't the first time that the CA DRE has put out a desist and refrain out on GCS. They had one earlier during a time that I signed up with GCS but had no idea. I signed up with them back in January and lost $3495. I've been in this dark tunnel for a long time hoping that some type of Class Action will come of this. Have you reported to the BBB and the CA DRE? I suggest you do so that there is some type of record. I also reported to the CA Attorney General.

I believe this Mr. Fox is associated with Fox Fields Financial Corporation based in Beverly Hill, CA and registered in Nevada. I have seen two different "credit repair" re-finance loans wherein Fox Fields Financial Corporation, in cooperation with the loan brokers received "money for nothing" of $4,995 and $7,995 respectively. Neither borrower authorized the transactions, but the amounts showed up on the HUD-1s as a done deal. Both loans were processed by the same escrow company, but different brokers. Perhaps the DRE investigator can follow this lead. Fox Fields Financial's website shows the normal credit repair fee is $300. I'll look for any interest to show up in this thread of answers, and provide additonal information if requested.

If Green credit solutions was served with a Desist and Refrain Order to work on loan mods as of 6/25/09 by the State DRE, then all the people who signed up after that date would have a good case against the company no? Regardless of being BK, they broke a rule. I signed up with them in late August of 09 this year and finished paying them off in two installments and the last payment to them was in late Sept. And the fee which i paid for their services was borrowed money which I still have to pay back!

Is there going to be a light at the end of the tunnel.....?

They seem to now be working under Erickson Law Group or gmelawgroup.com. If you look on the "contact us" is all the same address. I believe Mr Gary Erickson is the attorney to Green Credit Solutions. So I am sure is all connected.

Im sorry to everyone that was scammed by this company. Curt Melone and Cris run a very SHADY company. To the people that live close to their new office in Lake forest i would tell you to just go in there and try to get your money back. This company has laid off all but 5 people and are no longer even working on any of the modification files. I heard that they pretty much just threw them away. The reason companies like this dont ever work out is because they were just in it for themselves. They never cared about a single client and they were always trying to figure out how they can make more money off others. Don' worry because Karma is a biaaaatch!!! And they are getting theirs!!! I have never seen a company go up so fast in business and come down so hard. Everyone who has been scammed get together and make sure you file a class action law suit!! Everyone just keep calling them and leaving lots of messages.

I'm in the same situation with Green credit solution/Get my credit grade. I actually had a representative call me early last week and stated it will cost me more money to try and get my $3495 back. I signed up with GCS back in late August. I am now in the process of review with my bank after 3 months of the bank ( Interest only loan mod dept and not reg customer service) telling me that GCS has not sent them any of my info for review. So I had to fax over all my info myself last week since i'm in the middle of foreclosure. If anyone knows how I can get my money back or free help/advice on getting my loan modified, pls let me know.

Thanks!

I just wanted to give everyone a heads up that I will be out of town attending to a urgent business matter all next week. I tried to email everyone the contact for the DRE investigator, and encourage every to contact the person immediately. Unfortunately, I can't post the contact information for the DRE on this website.

If you did not receive my email, please email me at kraileyus2@aol.com with the subject Green Credit. I will check my emails in the evening.

I have not sent the letter yet because it borders on the practice of law, and I need to consult with an attorney to make sure I don't oversteps my bounds.

Hang in there.

Have you filed any complaints yet with the BBB or the Attorney General of California? Even though we look like we are out of luck getting our money back I would still file. I also filed with the Department of Real Estate. I'm hoping some attorney will step up and help all of us out at Krista's request.

I am also a victim to this Green credit solution.

Not only they took 3495.00 for a loan modification ,but they also enrolled me in a debt settlement program with Erickson Law group which I just now realized they are all connected.

I don't know how I will get my money back for my loan modification, since it was all done through my agent. But she said she will take care of it. We'll see about that.

But for my debt settlement program it is automatic monthly payment from my checking. I will put a stop payment today and report them with the bank as a fraud so that at least the bank will open an investigation and hopefully I can get those 2 first payments they took for enrollmet for the debt settlement program.

Very dissapointed. I can't believe I became a victim.

Krista, your investigations will hopefully shed some light on the many parts of the web that has been cast by Fox and Melone and has trapped so many people. The past employee said that Guardian is still alive and well with Fox at the helm. However, he is not answering calls or emails. What is the process for class action or civil suit? Is this even a solution for those out of state?
Geo, if there is help out there do not give up yet. At the very least we should continue with the complaints against all the various companies that Fox and Melone are hiding behind and different names that they have themselves.
I personally am willing to take the beating and chalk it up to litstening to the wrong person and paying up front fees, but it is not fair to leave the battleground with our tails between our legs.

One thing I did note on San Diego public records is that Gary Erickson (of Green Credit Capital and attorney for GCS) does have a civil history. Aside from the Accredited lawsuits there is a recent lawsuit in San Diego (3/09) for Professional Negligence, and two other suits pertaining to Accredited.

Now Green Credit websites require a user name and password, and the cache of their old website is gone.

I'm just sayin'

P.S. Other filings in Orange County under Christopher Fox. Trying to confirm the middle name.

Thus far, I've only found an unlawful detainer in filed in June 2009 against GCS in Orange County. Perhaps GCS filed out of county or under a different name. But the unlawful detainer coincided with the move.

I'm not an attorney, and this is only my opinion, but this sounds like it would fall under the California Unfair Business Practices Act. The CA Attorney General should have already filed suit. I'm not an injured party, and it is my understanding that Whistleblowers cannot file suit under the Act. But again, not an attorney, and would greatly appreciate if attorneys would chime in.

It is my understanding that funds collected by borrowers were supposed to have been held in trust, and those funds were not supposed to be accessible to the company until services were performed. Because of the civil and tort liability (and possible criminal liability), I do not believe that bankruptcy would discharge the liability. However, it does require protection to ensure rights.

I'm compiling a list of homeowners and have drafted a letter requesting both refunds and trust accounting for several borrowers who have been ripped off. However, I really need an attorney to donate some time and step up to be involved. As a Real Estate licensee, I have to be careful that I don't step beyond the realm of broker to the unlawful practice of law. All of the borrowers I spoke to need attorneys. This is class action material. Again, not an attorney, but it would seem that if the contracts were in themselves illegal, and there was fraud in the inducement, the contracts should be void. But since I'm not an attorney, I can't make that assessment.

If you look at the CA Secretary of State filings, you see that GCS (and affiliated companies) changed their business address to the new company address. They changed their licenses. Guardian involves Christopher Fox. They are still doing modifications under Guardian and have not closed down.

It would be criminal in my mind and offensive beyond my senses for GCS to fund their new company by bankrupting the DEPOSITS (which is what they truly were) of their old company.

There is also the issue of investors in Green Credit Capital, and if they are included in the bankruptcy. I'll be watching this very closely.

Again, need a legal professional ASAP!!!!

I spoke with Christopher Fox the CEO of Green Credit Solutions (GCS). He indicated to me today that Green Credit Solutions has filed bankruptcy as of October 16, 2009. I requested a total refund of $3400 for services not rendered. Chris indicated that there was no money and I will not receive a refund! He also indicated that they have laid off 90% of their employees. He said that GCS will send me my financial package so I could continue with the negations with my mortgage company on my own!!!

This is the conclusion of my blog on this site now that we (clients of GCS) will not achieve our objective which is a loan modification of our sub prime mortgages. If there are any attorneys that can offer guidance without fees paid up front, your assistance would be appreciated.

In conclusion, Caveat emptor "Let the buyer beware".

I am a little late obviously but I had pre-paid Green Credit in Feb. this year and have gone through the pain of no results in a promised 95% success rate for a loan modification. I have had limited access to Curt Melone and none with Chris Fox. I have seen two name changes and been through 3 customer representitives (2 of which have been fired). As stated the company no longer does loan modifications. Not only am I out the $3,450 but I am out the lost time of waiting for help from them. I am now close to the recast of my loan and will not be able to continue long with the payment if it does so.
I have filed a complain with the Calif. AG. Does anyone have any suggestions of where to go now. I have also officially requested a refund from them. I am not interested in letting this go...

There is clear documentation linking Green Credit Solutions to Guardian Credit Services. The corporate registration with the State of California shows Christopher Fox as the agent for service at the Foothill Ranch, CA address. Both website registrations for http://www.getmycreditgrade.com and http://www.myguardiancredit.com show Green Credit Solutions on the registration.

Green Res and GCS Marketing changed their license address with the California Department of Real Estate to the new Foothill address. Pacwest Funding also changed their address with the Department of Corporations for their CFL license.

The Secretary of State shows that CCS Marketing, Green Credit Solutions, Green Res, and Green Credit Financial all the same Foothill Ranch, CA mailing addresses and all companies are still listed as active.

Same companies, same players. Companies are alive and well and living in Foothill Ranch, CA.

In looking back on this thread I have a few questions for Joel:

1) How do you know my name?

2) What is your real relationship with Green Credit Solutions?

The fact that you called me by name would indicate that you are closer to GCS than your posts imply. My identity is well known to GCS, Mortgage Implode-O-Meter, and Martin Andelman- but its not readily available to individuals on Trulia.

Just to make clear who I am and what my motivations are to the rest of the readers that do not have inside information, I used to write a blog that was sponsored by Mortgage Implode-O-Meter. After I checked out Green Credit Solutions who was a major sponsor of ML Implode, I started having heated discussions with ML Implode and Martin Andelman to address my compliance concerns and provide evidence that GCS was in compliance. They refused, and as a result, I stopped writing. Currently, my blog is only still hosted on MLImplode due to a lawsuit involving one of my articles. It is no longer active.

I've been trying to get to the truth about GCS for months now, and my posts only get deleted or moved out of the view of non-registered readers.

Fortunately, Moe Bedard of LoanSafe actually had the backbone to devote a blog entry to a recent comment I made on Andelman's blog that was deleted by ML Implode. You can read the comment on Moe's blog:

http://loanworkout.org/2009/09/martin-andelman-ml-implode-gr…

There appears to have been some serious astroturfing on a number of blogs and discussion board. What I mean by astroturfing is the practice of disguising the efforts of an organization who is advancing their own agenda as independent public reaction. The term is a play on "grassroots" campaigns that are as fake as astroturf.

I am encouraging all borrowers who are unhappy with GCS's sudden company change and/or service to immediately request an accounting of their funds held in trust and/or a refund (if warranted).

The new company information is:

Getmycreditgrade LLC (GMCG)
27121 Town Centre Dr. Suite 200A
Foothill Ranch, CA 92610
888-444-MyGrade
866-872-293

If that fails, get legal representation and/or contact the Department of Real Estate, State Attorney General or any other agency that will listen.

You are entitled to know how funds that were collected by you were handled and/or disbursed.

You have the right to know that the entity you are working with is legally compliant.

You are entitled to the services you paid for.

If you are an affiliate of GCS, you have the right to know same in regard to your clients. If you relied on the assurances of ML Implode or Martin Andelman, you are also entitled to answers. Make noise if even it means having your posting privileges revoked.

If you are an investor of Green Credit Capital, you have the right to have your questions answered. If you aren't getting answers, get on the phone with the State of California Department of Corporations Security Division or the SEC.

Do not go gentle into that good night. Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

At least try to get your money back. I hear it doesn't grow on trees.

One that is of particular interest to me is thier violation of Unlicensed Activities. It seems that during the time Green Credit and I signed the contract they were not authorized to do so. What you describe appears to violate California laws and regulations. What I would like to know is how can borrowers request an accounting of their trust funds and/or apply for a refund. I highly recommend that you contact the California Department of Real Estate and discuss your issues. The information you have available may help the Department of Real Estate in building their case.

Clients of Green Credit Solutions should file complaints with the California Department of Real Estate, California Department of Corporations, California Bar Association, California Attorney General, and their state regulatory agencies.

Clients located in California should see an attorney.

I have worked very closely with Green Credit Center inside their office for several months as an agent, representing them to an ethnic community. I used their conference room to conduct training for my agents. While this post has a lot of opinions and smoke in mirrors, my observation and experience is coming from dealing with them directly within their office space. Green Credit claimed that they are back-end service provider whose aim is to recruit agents and brokers while they have inside sales reps selling and marketing their services directly to the consumer. They have many in-house reps. And brokers who are hired to recruit prospective agents and brokers, until even this very moment where they closed down their business name as Green Credit Solutions, but operating under a new company (Guardian Credit Services, http://www.getmycreditgrade.com, located in 27121 Town Centre Dr. #200A Foothill Ranch, CA 92610. 888.444.mygrade). The new company is operating under pretty same management as Green Credit Solutions and the same marketing approach. They changed their business name three times less than a year. I could say yeah, this is their business decision, and that is to make money. But if the core ethic of a business is to make money, what differentiate a bank robber from a company like Green Credit? It is very unethical to close their business down, dropping all their contacts, and open a bigger operation while there are literally thousands of distressed home owners who need careful attentions for the fees they have paid up-front. They boasted 80-90% loans are modified, but out of 30-40 clients that were submitted through our dept., we only saw few of them got results, and most of the clients weren’t happy with the level of the services they got. We thought the language might be the problem. But I found out by trying to facilitate by exchanging phone calls and emails between Green Credit and the clients we found it’s not simply language barrier, but as I have seen other testimonies who speak perfect English still have the same problems, something is not right.
While they were doing loan modification business actively (they are not doing LM actively with the new company) most of our clients weren’t happy with the level of services they have received. I don’t trust that they will take care of the clients that they have now, since they took all the upfront fees, and focusing with other business services. I have seen each of their negotiators are working on hundreds of files, buried with files above and below their desks, some of them just got promoted from data-entry positions to a negotiator position. I think what happened was that greed got on the way, taking more files than what they can handle, while they know they can’t handle. We know that the banks sometimes are the problems, but Green Credit Solutions became the troubled banks themselves, and I think in my opinion, worse than the bank, because they don’t make the decision for the home owners, creating gaps after gaps to talk to the lender from the desperate home owners, since once the clients signs the authorization, they are asked not to deal directly with the lender. I had clients called me and complained that their lender called and they are ready to talk. The lenders called the clients to let them know that they Green Credit is not responding to their email, and/or phone calls, and the time is running out.
They promised a lot of things to the agents and to the clients, but I have seen very few carried through. Their marketing materials that were used to train the agents are falsified (that all the back end services are done by attorney network, but I haven’t seen no attorney working on any of the files), and the upfront fee they charged to all clients should go into an escrow account as they stated on their contract, but DRE found out that’s not the case. They dropped their website address, and contact informations are not available to the public. My clients are calling me, we as agents have done everything that we could, even at this very moment, while Green credit solutions is gone, and operating under different name with bigger facility. I know they had thousands of people they have contracted as brokers or agents nationwide a lot of them came from Mortgage, real estate industry that they probably also bought into their sales pitch. I cannot imagine there are hundreds of agents who are going through the same stress as I am; losing of potential income, reputation, and stress that might affect their health and family relationships. Green Credit Solutions has not notified any of the changes they were making, or any issues they were having with DRE, or other agencies to their agents. None of my clients knows that Green Credit is closed down, and no longer in operation. No one has contacted the agents from Green Credit to let them know any of the changes that took place.

We have been "working" w/GC since Jan....we just requested a refund (which they assured us would NOT be forthcoming. What they fail to tell you is you will be faxing documents over and over and over...never ending. At 1st it's because they did not rec. them(our Fax says they DID), then it's because the bank "has the right to request whatever they want"...they ARE hard to connect with (until we started threatening the BBB) then we became a "priority"...yet they needed more documents..and more(same ones)Though we signed w/them(and paid BIG$$) in Jan..during a conversation, one slipped and said work on our file had not begun until APRIL(so why were we upset at no progress in so short time?)They claimed they did not get the paperwk fr us..we have all copies..then they did not have record of employment (but THEN they found it) At one pt I was even referred to by someone else's name (too many sucker..um, CLIENTS they can't keep them straight?) Yes, many 800 # were changed, their Co names change...must be a reason for all that... What they DON'T tell you is most of the time, your now lender has no authority to change ANYTHING on your loan because they are now only servicing it...they are not the ORIGINAL lenders who sold your acct. to another lender who turned around and sold your acct AGAIN (and AGAIN)...if you are lucky enough to have your original loan w/who U really signed w/maybe they WILL work w/you....I hope and am thrilled SOMEONE has been helped. But if your mortg. is not w/your ORIGINAL lender...DON'T sign w/GC... I made a house payment last month, however not every lender will take "some kind of payment". We are behind based on making the $3495 payment to green credit. It was a decision we made since we had no other options at the time. I also have been in contact with my lender and they have not heard anything from GC since July 7th, they were asking for a fax number, information you would think they would have. At present time they have not received anything from GC.

Greencreditcustomer, you must be one of the lucky few who have been able to communicate with GC and I sincerely hope they come through for you. Based on what I have received from the BBB, the FTC and have heard from the California Attorney General, there are seriously more of us out there that are being screwed by this company, whatever they call themselves today.

As a person going through the loan mod process I 1)have been in contact with GCS who did tell me that my file has been transferred to a new company 2)I verified with my lender that "yes" my loan mod is under review and 3) Sweetliljilly, the one piece you left out of the puzzle is "When was the last time you made a payment on your mortgage?

We are also behind on our mortgage by 3 months, HOWEVER, we have been making payments to the mortgage company each month. They even told us make "SOME KIND OF PAYMENT." you can't expect that if you have not made a payment in 10,12,14 months that the lenders will want to work with you. You have reached the point of no return.

I've filled complaints with the BBB and the Federal Trade Commision. I visited the link that Manabouttown provided and chatted with someone I was familiar with at Green Credit. Same old lies, same old story. Still waiting for the phone call that is suppose to come ASAP...yeah right. Thanks for all your advice. I'm now dealing with my mortgage company directly.

Sweetijilly, stop wasting your time with Green Credit. Contact your servicer immediately and ask for an emergency repayment plan or special forbearance. Tell them that you were working with mod company, and that you want to work with them directly. Ask if it is possible to make an immediate payment. Be clear that you have a documented hardship.

You need to ask the servicer the status of your modification request. If it was declined, ask for a copy of the NPV test (net present value test) to ensure that all of the data is accurate and/or that you truly were considered for a modification.

You also want to talk to a real attorney (that you consult with and hire directly) to determine whether or not you can file an immediate legal action to stop the foreclosure. Be sure and bring your paperwork from GCS to see if you file legal action against GCS and recover any amounts that have been paid and/or damages.

You also need to contact GCS at the new website and DEMAND a complete refund so that you can use the funds to help bring your mortgage current. If they refuse, talk to an attorney and/or state regulatory agencies.

Also, contact the Department of Real Estate, attorney general, Bar association, etc. and file complaints against GCS if they will not cooperate.

Do not go down quietly. Time is of the essence. Bust a move.

I started working with Green Credit in January 2009 on a modification loan. Like most people who contact companies like Green Credit we needed help. We are loosing our house, we have over 10k in medical bills because our daughter is sick, we lost my mother-in-law a year ago May and she had nothing. We inherited her problems so to say the least I was really counting on Green Credit to come through with their promise to help us. We paid them over $3,400 for their help. We got taken. At the end of the month our house will be in forclosure. I had many emails I sent out, many phone calls that were never answered and I chatted on their live chat line almost daily. Promise after promise was made to me that they were actively working on my modification. Now, they no longer have a chat line because they no longer have a website. I'm left now with explaining to my 17 and 15 year old how mom lost the house, litteraly. Tracy, if you are looking for a job, look somewhere else.

Thats a good point Shine, it seems Curt has also changed his own name in the past, not sure why.

What kind of spelling is "Melone" anyway??

Take a look at Chris Fox's first companies rating

Not impressive. Can these guys do anything legitimately? Looks like LB ran from here as soon as Green shut down. Why would he stick around and defend a defunct company name? I wonder if he actually cares if mods get done??

I am an agent with green credit solutions and this a tru, reliable great company. I am not here to convince you to work for them but they have helped me on my home loan modofication with great success and helping lots of relativers and friends around me with great results. I know for sure that there are a lot of scam companies but this is not a joke. I know them personally and they are also great people.

I investigated Moe Bedard for months, and spoke to a couple of ex-employees and acquaintances of his. I also verified his legal past, and reviewed business and website filings. While I was initially alarmed, and a bit horrified, I ultimately decided not to write about Moe because 1) After months of investigation, I did not find illegal activity in regard to his participation in the modification business, 2) the loansafe.org website is the most consumer friendly do-it-yourself loan modification resource I’ve found on the web, and 3) From what I have heard, Moe has turned over a new leaf, and drudging up mistakes from his past seemed to be in poor taste.

Understand that it is not illegal for a company or individual with mortgage industry skills to facilitate modification processing or educate and assist attorneys. The CA DRE and CA Bar do not take issue with bona fide relationships between attorneys and mortgage industry professionals. From what I can see, Moe is not prohibited from working in the industry, and only from being an agent. The issue that the CA DRE and CA Bar has is when attorneys and non attorneys create affiliations for the express purpose of circumventing laws- especially in regard to advance fees. Many attorneys lack the background in the mortgage industry to properly facilitate modifications, and need training and guidance from industry professionals. Unfortunately, many so-called “attorney backed” firms are merely fronts. Often, attorneys never actually work on the files.

According to the two ex-employees and acquaintances that I spoke to, attorneys were involved in all cases, and Moe Bedard and his employees provided internal support services. I do not know this for a fact, and it is only what I was told. However, based on this information, I could not find fault with the operation and did not speak out against Moe or his organization.

Bringing up someone’s past that is unrelated to the subject matter in order to deflect attention from the issue at hand appears to be retaliatory at best. The information provided on the Loansafe website is solid, and beneficial to consumers.

In regard to Steve at MFI Miami, he totally lost credibility when he wrote the story taking Green Credit off the 20 worst modification companies list, and quoted erroneous information as the reason for doing so. Both Andelman of Mandelman Matters and Steve at MFI would serve the public much better by writing columns that gave borrowers self-help advice and useful information rather than steering borrowers to modification firms. Are they there to help borrowers or act as shills for the modification industry? I find it ironic that the CA DRE filed a D & R Order and Accusation shortly after MFI took GCS off the 20 worst mod company list.

Returning to the issue at hand, why did GCS take down their websites? What is up with all the name changes? Why does their new website conceal their identity? What license are they operating under? Have they resolved their numerous issues with the CA DRE (which are much more substantial in the DRE Accusation than the D & R Order), why did they hold themselves out as a “law center” when they are not in fact, a registered legal corporation? Why are they doing unlicensed debt pro-ration and credit repair? Why won’t they answer specific questions regarding compliance issues that a few of us have asked specifically on this board?

But here is an even more important question: If GCS closes, what happens to the current borrowers with modifications in process? Even more important is what happens to the investors who may have participated in Green Credit Capital’s investment offerings? Will the investors be impacted? Also, why was Erickson’s prior employment with Accredited and certain lawsuits (which Erickson was named as a Director of Accredited) withheld from investors?

Again: Caveat emptor!

I am an affiliate or was of Green Credit Solutions. I had 30 files with them that we brought in over the last 2 years. We have had 2 Modifications. They have continued to lie to our clients. We teams up with them (to refi down the road and grow our family business) they have only ruined our trust with they homeowners.
Found out through client that he received a letter from the CEO that they were switching to GET MY CREDIT GRADE.
They have not informed any other clients and they have been calling me day and night.(we have been there for them the whole way...why stop now).
There infrastructure is a debacle. They have no real experience.
I was informed by the by our old account exec. that they will not take on any new business and will focus on the files they do have. BIG FIB!
We bleeded green for over 2 years.
Karma will surface.

Of course, as it turns out, the web registration for http://www.getmycreditgrade.com is a private registration with no business information. No company name on the website, no address, no license information, etc.

File this under things that make you go hmmmmm.....

Rather than play musical business entity chairs, how about simply complying with laws and regulations?

Caveat emptor.

A solid organized legitimate company would post this type of information - new address, new name/s, new phone number etc - on their website, not require a customer to search for them.

Green Credit has been served a cease and desist letter by the California Department of Real Estate.Well, now it looks like they may be officially out of business.

I sugest any homeowner that has been victimized to vistt the links below and tell your story. Call the California AG or visit their special website for loan modifivcations. http://ag.ca.gov/loanmod

I have been blogging about Green Credit Solutions for the past few weeks. This loan modification firm out of Orange County California has been a major player in the Southland and across the US for the past year.

A few homeowners have been emailing me and I have been receiving many anonymous comments about the firm. So I decided to reach out to my readers to find out more information about Green Credit.

Thier websites are now no longer live. Thier 800# appears to be not working. I also went over to Aaron Krowne’s website at ML Implode and also Martin Madelman’s blog and Green Credit is no longer advertised on their websites as partners.

At one time Aaron Krowne told me that Green Credit Solutions was their biggest advertiser. Martin was also a major spokesperson for the loan mod firm and had since removed all posts and mentions of the company.

Green Credit was also named on the California Attorney Generals list today of loan modification and foreclosure consultant firms who have yet to register with their office and or file a $100,000 bond. That link can be found below.

http://ag.ca.gov/cms_attachments/press/pdfs/n1780_registry_l…

In June they were served with a cease and desist order by the California Department of Real Estate.

Rumor has it that there are several thousand files and homeowners that may be in jeopordy. Also a tipster on the internet provided this link to what they say is their new website. http://www.getmycreditgrade.com./

so their websites are down, the 800 number isnt working.. i truly hope they are not able to reopen under any name whatsoever. who knows whats happening with the mod files in place already, i heard they are being sold or transferred to some attorney. green is now going to try and become solely a debt settlement company i hear, they have partnered with Home Loan Preservation which is a huge network of people who work independently, mostly from home. Kind of like a MLM type operation lol. get em moe!

So this is the company that is licensed to perform loan modifications under the DRE? http://pwfinc.com/ and this is the license? http://www2.dre.ca.gov/publicasp/pplinfo.asp?License_id=01525143 and is this who does your marketing? http://www2.dre.ca.gov/publicasp/pplinfo.asp?License_id=01859050. Geez, so much darn confusion and so many companies.

Please clear the air on these issues.

It looks like per the DRE that PacWest Funding just changed names to Green Residential. http://www2.dre.ca.gov/publicasp/pplinfo.asp?License_id=01525143.

I used Green Credit (or whatever they are called now) and although it was next to impossible to get a hold of someone to update us on our accout, they DID modify our loan and we just found out we'll be saving over $700 a month!!!!!! My only complaint is lace of communication, but other then that, I couldn't be any happier :)

The website my be down..no big deal..I have dealt with Yahoo being down as well..emailed my contact at Green Credit and had no problem getting a response...as much as many of you on this blog want this company to fail...many of us with homes we want to save, want them to succeed.

Besides....I think anyone in the loan modification business who thinks they will get away with ripping off people better think twice...each fraud count carries a stiff penalty and could result in a lifetime of prision...ask Madoff of you don't believe me.
