Create a flyer and drop it off at all the local real estate offices, email the Reo Agents in the area and let them know you are available-try offering them a discount to try your services. Sign up with the banks and national asset management companies directly. Set up a website and market your services, connect with local Realtors on facebook, twitter, and linkedin and network with them. Advertise, advertise, and advertise-all successful businesses do this!
Good luck!

Mattcaro,

How do you feel about working for nearly free? Banks do not care to put any money into foreclosures, however, brokers will. Some banks require the brokers who represent them to put the power, maintenance contracts in the brokers name. The banks also require the broker to pay for repairs and cleaning which will all be reimbursed at closing of escrow to the broker. Forget speaking to banks, contact the brokers who specialize in foreclosures. In your town, this may be a short list of 6-12 names. Tell them you would like to offer bids on their inventory. If you have insurance and do good work they'll call.

Scott is correct. Speak to the banks or check with listing agents that have a lot of foreclosures.

Your best bet is to go to the offices of the leading listing agents of bank owned homes, phone calls are a bother and wont work well. make sure you have a nice presentaion of who you are and what you can do. Offer free estimates, work quickly, do a good job and be reasonable in what you charge.

Hi matt,

Try going online and "Googling" Real Estate + Santa Rosa + REO (or + Bank owned homes or + lender owned homes) and contact those agents representing banks in Santa Rosa.

Just a thought.
