I have recently started a foreclosure/REO cleaning business.

What are the best ways to contact realtors and do you think local REO agents or national asset management companies are more beneficial for someone just starting out?

The web site Angie's List will reap you some rewards, it is in Charlotte. Also, try one of the email flier campaigns. Fast, effective and cheap. They have all the Realtor contacts for the area, you just pick the area...it'll cost you under $100. You will hit all agents, but what your company sounds like it is specializing in, is the one time clean up. A lot of vacant homes and relocation homes need that one time clean up. With that in mind, I would not focus just on the REO agents, I would broaden my approach to all agents and sell the "we clean your vacant homes" as the pitch. Bullet your ad with REO's, Foreclosures, Rentals, Relocations, Vacant...One time wonders. Good luck!

Faithe,
I think that's wonderful. Entrepreneurs always find a niche in current markets. Way to go!
