what can i do? who would i contact? chase is not working with us.
I specialize in short sales in the Helotes area and I know that Chase can be a pain when dealing with a home that is about to be foreclosed and geting the short sale approval.! There are many ways to stop the foreclosure process, but the most important thing to get them to listen to you is to send them a COMPLETE package with an offer in there..! make sure to be talking to the right department and just stay on top of it every day!!
Call me if I can help you in any way..!

Nikkie & Tom,
The bank will work only if you have an offer, if not then they will not work with you. First you have to get an offer, even from an investor (but something close to market price) then submit the hardship letter, financials, listing agreement and offer to the short sale dept. When you call the bank to submit the package ask the fax number for short sale or loss mitigation dept and inform them to stop the foreclosure because this offer is good. Call them and if possible get the information of negotiator after you submit the offer to talk to the negotiator directly. I hope this will help...good luck!
The trouble you are having with Chase depends on what stage of the short sale you are at. You may want to be more specific on that.
Further, if you are trying to contact someone at the bank to start the short sale process, you'd be better off putting your short sale package together, including your listing agreement and contract, and sending that in ASAP. Then you can attempt to postpone your clients foreclosure date while the bank is reviewing the short sale offer.
We offer short sale negotiation and are based in Texas. Please call us at 832-330-4588 if we can help you.
