the loan and I was served with a foreclosure notice. I hired an attorney and the judges ruling was that I was not liable for the foreclosure. Now that I want to buy a house I keep getting turned down because I have this on my credit. Do I have any options or anyone I can talk with to rectify this issue?

Place a dispute with each of the 3 credit bureaus, don't forget to include the judge's ruling. That should take care on your problem. The disputed item should be removed from the credit reports while in dispute, so you should see a fairly quick effect on your credit.

I would highly recommend that you consult with an experienced, reputable Loan Officer / Mortgage Lender. Then, if credit repair efforts are necessary, your Loan Officer should be able to point you in the right direction. Let me know if you need the name of a solid Loan Officer.

All the best!
