address or phone numbers to call.
I just completed a transaction using this program. To qualify you must take the classes offered through the County. You will receive a certificate at the end of your class and also a list of "approved" lenders with all of their contact information. Check with Diversified Housing in Baltimore County for class schedule and all the information you will need.
Then make sure you utilize the services of an agent that is versed in this product because there is addisitonal documents that must be submitted with the offer and certain time restrictions that must be adhered to.
Feel free to contact me if you have any questions. This is an awesome program for purchasing foreclosures.
First Preference Mortgage is working with that program. Ann Coscia and her daugher Lora have been really helpful to the clients I have referred them to. You can contact them 4106824982 and fhamtgs@aol.com.
After you have completed the educational component to qualify I would be happy to show you some qualified foreclosure homes.
Shirley,
Any agent can help you aquire a property. However, the lender you use must be involved in that program to make you the loan for that certain program. Give me a call and we can talk about this further. I had a couple of lenders that contacted me about that program, but it was some time ago and there was a limited amount of money available. That money may not be available any more. We would just have to find out.
I will be more than happy to help you.
