I must tell you that having worked with many different mortgage companies, some are easiser than others to work with. Some, basically ignore any contact and never respond which is not what I would think they would do if they really wanted to release the home but that is the new way of banking I guess. Remember that Indymac was one of those Banks that have been taken over and that may be why things aren't moving. Be patient. Short Sales can take as long as 6 or more months but Foreclosed properties should be a little easier to work with.They don't go as smoothly as a simple Buyer mortgage purchase but they are great deals which can make you money when the market turns around.

Why not to ask your agent? If they accepted your offer - how dit it fail? There must be some correspondence on the subject? Some trail? Why did you not use an agent?
